U-MIX has partnered with Deltamune, a South African vaccine manufacturer, on a training series called Proudly Poultry. The aim of Proudly Poultry is to empower farmers to make the best informed decisions for their farms. The training includes brooding, nutrition, health, biosecurity, management, and record keeping.

Proudly Poultry Phase II

In 2024, Proudly Poultry Phase II was launched for Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Uganda. A team of 14 trainers across the 3 countries are committed to training 1350 farmers through a 6 week poultry production course. The Proudly Poultry II trainers are trained thoroughly through our train-the-trainer program and frequent follow-ups with our in-country teams.

U-MIX stands for the empowerment of small-scale farmers in Africa, and Proudly Poultry has been a critical component in turning our vision into action.
